While you relax in our office, we will numb your treatment areas with a topical anesthetic cream and draw your blood. We will then place your blood into a centrifuge, a special machine that spins your blood to isolate the PRP. This process takes only minutes. We will then perform microneedling to your skin while applying the PRP, gently alternating between the PRP application and microneedling to ensure maximum absorption and benefits from the PRP.
Your face will look red from the microneedling, which creates tiny treatment channels, or holes, in your skin. Your face will also feel tight as the PRP dries on your skin. In the next few days, your redness will fade and your microneedling channels will start to heal, revealing a wide range of benefits by the end of the week, including smoother, brighter, younger-looking skin.
We gently inject PRP into targeted areas of your face to replenish lost volume and spur revitalization from within. If desired, we can pair your PRP treatment with dermal fillers or Botox to provide a rejuvenation boost.
Any injection involves the risk of swelling, bruising or pinpoint bleeding. These side effects are typically minor and resolve soon after treatment (within hours or days).
