FAQs: Office Visits During Covid-19

Do you offer telemedicine or virtual consultations?

Yes, we do offer virtual consultations, if deemed appropriate for your treatment. Please call us to learn more today!

What should I do if I am experiencing symptoms?

Contact us if you have been sick or shown any symptoms of illness in the last 14 days (fever, chills, sore throat, cough, headaches, fatigue, loss of taste, loss of smell). If you’ve been around someone diagnosed with COVID-19, were asked to quarantine, or traveled out of the state in the last 14 days, please call us so we can reschedule your appointment.

How do you maintain social distancing at the office?

We ask that you come to your appointment alone. Unless you’re a parent or legal guardian of the minor being seen, or a caretaker for someone who needs support, we ask that you don’t bring guests or children with you, to minimize unnecessary exposure. Those with you will be required to have the same level of screening. Other guests will be asked to wait outside. We also ask that you arrive on time. Please check the time of your appointment in your confirmation email and text, and do not arrive too early or late. This will help ensure we are moving patients through their appointments consistently, to avoid any wait time in the building.

Are patients required to wear masks?

Yes. Per CDC requirements, please wear a face mask. This is extra protection for our staff and other patients.

Do I need to do anything in advance of my appointment?

Fill out your paperwork ahead of time. If you’re new, you will receive emails on how to complete new patient paperwork, which limits the contact you have with our staff and how long you are in the office. If you’re a current patient, we’ll verbally get any information we need during your visit. Our staff will reach out to you to inform you of any updates/changes. If you have any issues, we’re here to help.
